Tools of Titans
This book is not meant to replace the original book but to serve as a companion to it. If there's one lesson Oren Klaff has learned over decades of pitching, presenting, and closing long-shot, high-stakes deals, it's that people are sick of being marketed and sold to. Most of all, they hate being told what to think. The more you push them, the more they resist. What people love, however, is coming up with a great idea on their own, even if it's the idea you were guiding them to have all along.
Often, the only way to get someone to sign is to make them feel like they're smarter than you. Careers are not linear, predictable ladders any longer; they are fluid trajectories.

No matter our age, life stage, bank account balance, or seniority, we are all being asked to navigate career changes much more frequently than in years past. The average employee tenure in America is just four to five years, and even those roles change dramatically within that time. Our economy now demands that we create businesses and careers based on creativity, growth, and impact.

Make informed decisions with the FT
This is a waste of money and time. What an absolute ripoff!! The writing is awful. The editing is worse. It does a terrible dis-service to Tim Ferriss' work. Any additional comments? A poorly executed attempt to cash in on a real author's work. I might be ready for this when I retire.

For now the musical soundtrack is my track. I purchase this book in hopes of being enlightened. After finally getting through it I found myself bewildered on what I just listened to. All In All I would not recommend this book. It feels as if the narrator is reading a list of bulletpoints instead of condensing the most useful information from the book into a audiobook-friendly format. Lots of useful information but not an enjoyable listen.
I have not done many audibles but could not believe they would charge full price for a f summery. If it was more of a narrative. This note book style summary doesn't translate to audiobook at all. Not much value in the notes provided. I think I heard one thing I thought was interesting. The part about the daily journal entries is a valuable addition to my daily journal practice.
Editor's Notes & Price Research
I've listened all the way through maybe 8 times over the past few days. I thought I was getting the book but it was just a podcast, a total waste of credits. Ok, largely down to me being an idiot and not reading the title and description. Still abit misleading with the title and leaving the "Summary and Analysis" until the end.
When I purchased this, this had the same cover as the book it is summarising so was even more "misleading". When I realised what it was, I did not listen to the content. Honestly nothing beats this book. All the tactics and the strategies shared are eye opener. A short, random gathering of some examples of success but lacks any punch.

They range from champion UFC fighters, navy seals and leading neuroscientists to self help guru Tony Robbins and billionaire investor Chris Sacca.
This book is a buffet, Ferriss writes, rather than a sit-down meal. He gives the reader given permission to skip bits, just as well considering some of the advice relates to the fastest way to becoming gymnast-fit, microdosing on LSD to boost your mental performance, fasting techniques and a level of obsessiveness over food that would be unsustainable and unappealing for most of us. The primary objective of this book is to identify the common threads in tactics, routines and habits of billionaires, icons and world-class performers.
In doing so it outlines a compelling argument for the inherent link between fitness, money and wisdom. In other words, if you want to be successful in business, it pays to look after your physical and mental health. What makes Tools of Titans different from other compilations of profiles on successful people is that it goes deep into what these individuals actually do rather than what they simply think and believe.
It outlines the actual routines and resources uber successful people call on to reach peak performance. Own your day. Like I said, it sounds simple but commit to it for 30 days and see the difference.
